FestFoto Brazil 2018 opens for the selection of works that will be shown in the schedule of Projections Programing 2018. With the theme "Genres in Transit: Border Photography" as part of the 11th edition of FestFoto, that discusses genres of photography and photography of genres, increasing the visibility of photography done by women. By "Transit Genres: Border Photography" is meant a vast repertoire of thoughts, impulses and actions of the human being in the social, political and cultural fields with photography joining boundaries of languages. Twenty finalists will be selected, of whom two will be considered the winners of the 2018 Call, one of each category and will be automatically invited to exhibit their works in the 2019 edition. The top 10 will have their works published at OF Magazine, the online magazine of FestFoto Brazil. During the selection process we will also be displaying on our website a gallery with registered works that have caught the attention of our jury. FestFoto 2018 Call fo Enrtry is partnering with LensCulture, one of the largest online destinations in the world for the discovery and diffusion of contemporary photography with a global audience of more than 2 million people. You are invited to use the LensCulture platform to enroll in the FestFoto 2018 Call. The deadline is January 25, 2018 and entries will be accepted in two categories: Multimedia / Visual Narratives (with works of up to 4 minutes) and Portfolio with up to 20 images. The registration fee is $ 95.00 - equivalent to $ 30.00. Selected papers will be screened during FestFoto, May 8-12, 2018.
