FestFoto Brazil 2018 opens its Call for the selection of works that will be shown in the program of projections Fotograma Livre 2018. The Call is open to all male photographers and female photographers from all over the world. With the theme "Genres in Transit: Frontier Photography" as part of the 11th edition of FestFoto that discusses genres of photography and photography of genres, understanding the theme through a vast repertoire of thoughts, impulses and actions of the human being in the social, political and cultural with photography uniting borders of languages. Twenty finalists will be selected, including a winner who will receive prizes, tickets and lodging to participate in the festival and a Free Passport to participate in the International Portfolio Reviews Platform 2018. In addition to the participation prize in the festival, the winner along to the second and third place will be automatically invited to display their works in the 2019 edition. The top 10 will have their works published in OF Magazine, online magazine of FestFoto. During the selection process we will also be displaying on our website a gallery with registered works that have caught the attention of our jury. The FestFoto Brazil 2018 Call is partnered with LensCulture, one of the largest online destinations in the world for the discovery and diffusion of contemporary photography with a global audience of more than 2 million people. You are invited to use the LensCulture platform to enroll in the FestFoto 2018 Call. The deadline is February 25, 2018 and entries will be accepted in two categories: Multimedia / Visual Narratives on video (with works of up to 4 minutes) and Portfolio with up to 20 images. The registration fee is $ 95.00 - equivalent to $ 30.00. Selected papers will be screened during FestFoto, May 8-12, 2018.
